Defence Discount Service
The only official Ministry Of Defence (MOD) Discount Service and also home of the Defence Privilege Card.The service allows members of the Armed Forces, their families and Veterans to make savings both online and on the high street. Sign up now for free and start saving straight away. The Defence Discount Service is available for Serving and Reserve Armed Forces, Spouses/Partners, Veterans, MOD Civil Servants, War/Service Widow(er)s, Bereaved Family members, Cadet Forces and NATO personnel.
The DDS Privilege Card costs £4.99 and is valid for 5 years. There are also offers are available without the purchase of the card by visiting the Defence Discount Service website.

Events
There are two major events held each year. The Annual General Meeting in the spring and also the Association plays a key role in the events of Remembrance weekend. The association also organises periodic visits to the National Memorial Arboretum

Upcoming Events
Sunday 12 May 2013 at 11am
Annual Remembrance Service at Runnymede in memory of members of the Commonwealth Air Forces who lost their lives in the Second World War while operating from the United Kingdom and North West Europe and who have no known grave. This moving ceremony is open to all who wish to pay their respects to those named on the memorial. For more information about the Memorial and the Service click here.
Location: The memorial overlooks the River Thames on Cooper’s Hill at Englefield Green between Windsor and Egham on the A308, 4 miles from Windsor.
Battle of the Atlantic 70th Anniversary - 26th May
The main focus of activity will be Liverpool, although there will be a number of events elsewhere, including London and Londonderry between 24th-27th. Those wishing to attend the Service of Commemoration in Liverpool on 26th May 13 should contact the Naval Regional Commander Northern England on 0151 707 3402. The War and Peace Revival - 17th-21st July
This new five-day military and vintage festival will be packed full of education and entertainment bringing the Dunkirk Spirit to this historic corner of Kent. It is an opportunity for veterans to attend the War and Peace Revival to be held at the Folkestone Racecourse in Kent on 17th to 21st July. In the past this show has extended a free invitation to all WW2 veterans to attend This year the invitation has been widened to include all Korean Vets and former National Servicemen to mark the 60th and 50th of these two significant events in our armed forces history.
