The War Widows’ Association has agreed to develop a War Widows’ Association Calendar for 2016 but we need your help.
It is planned that the calendar will reflect the diversity of our Association by including photographs of iconic images from around our regions; e.g. the Liver Building, Plymouth Hoe, Blackpool Tower, Edinburgh Castle, Giants Causeway, Caernarfon Castle etc.
If you are feeling inspired, why not share what is special about your region and enter our “Regional Focus Calendar 2016 Competition”. It can be any iconic image which sums up your region, as long as it was taken by you in the UK, Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man; we’d love to see it.
Please note that photographs featuring individuals or groups of people will not be accepted; however please feel free to include your 2014 AGM Teddy Bear in your photograph.
We are looking for a total of twelve spectacular photographs taken by you, our members (full and associate). The twelve photographs chosen to feature in the calendar will receive Marks and Spencer vouchers as follows:-
First Prize: £100 Marks and Spencer Vouchers
Second Prize: £50 Marks and Spencer Vouchers
Third Prize: £25 Marks and Spencer Vouchers
The remaining nine photographs chosen will each receive a Marks and Spencer voucher to the value of £10.
The winning photographs will be chosen by a panel of judges with the final decisions being made by the Production Manager for the calendar.
Before you enter, please read our simple rules below.
How to enter
You must be a member of the War Widows’ Association (Full or Associate).
