The funeral service of Capt Tom takes place today, Saturday 27th February in Bedfordshire. Only eight relatives will attend the service but his Military Family will provide the honors he deserves. I know that he will be in your thoughts at 12.30. The Yorkshire Regiment and representatives from the Army Foundation College Harrogate will perform full ceremonial duties.

A World War Two plane will fly past, six soldiers will carry the coffin and a firing party of fourteen will each fire three rounds in unison. Part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will flypast before a lone bugler sounds the last post. Around the country church bells will toll 100 times at noon so if you hear the bells please spare a moment or two to remember the man who has inspired so many.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his Family and Friends today.
