Membership Cards For Full Members

FULL members of the War Widows’ Association are afforded the privilege of being able to be a Temporary Honorary Member of the Union Jack Club (UJC), Sandell Street, London SE1 8UJ; this privilege enables Full members to access to the club’s facilities although it does not allow you to take guests.

A Full Member is someone who is in receipt of or has been in receipt of a War Widows’ Pension or an Armed Forces Compensation Scheme 2005 payments (AFCS 2005 SGIP).

Full members of the Association can be issued with a membership card by sending their contact details, full name and address including postcode (BLOCK CAPITALS), together with a copy of your awards notification to confirm your entitlement under the War Pension Scheme or Armed Forces Compensation Scheme, you should also include a Passport size photo; these should be sent to the Chairman, War Widows’ Association, c/o 199 Borough High Street, London, SE1 1AA.

Please be aware that it may take a number of weeks before you receive your Membership Card as the Association is managed totally by volunteers and does not have any paid staff or permanent offices.
